♥Lovelife Status: Currently looking & searching for that one true love, aren't we all haha! Girls that are kool and kickass but can be girly too! Maybe a girl that would let me teach her how to ride a dirbike or go on a jetski. Or even not be afraid to get on a skateboard. The kind of girl that can look great in a dress or a skirt but can also hang with the boys in jeans or whatever. I guess I just don't like prissy girls for girlfriends. Missed LoA show for the second time!
A Sad Day For A Lords Fan.
Well I started listening to the Lords almost 10 years ago and my high school friends were going to the show. I didn't find out till that day though. They didn't know I liked the Lords because a group of the punks weren't into them so they automatically assumed and threw me in the pile :( The next day I had to hear all the details on what happened at the show and it only made me hate myself more for missing it. So I swore next time they came around I'd go! Well years went by and my life was going crazy so I lost track of the Lords. But then "Our Little Secret" came out so I knew they had to have a tour comming soon! I called the ticket people and when they said, "yep, they're playing in Boston" I was so exited I was nervous and shakin for a LoA Live Fix! So I got 2 tickets. One for me & I had yet to know who was coming with me LOL! To be honest, at this time I was out of high school, I knew no one that liked the Lords like I did, and I was asking almost anyone to go, my treat of course. So I go pick up my Bands Bass player (he's who I ended up picking he'd heard the Lords before). So guess what? Marcus didn't have his I.D. on him AHHHHH! He's mega mega burnt! I said dude these people always ask for I.D. he replied, "They do?". So we went back to his house so he could go look for it. Ok so he gets back in the car and acts like it's all good. We drive for 45min (I live in outer Boston). We get to the club and we're in line. I show my I.D. Asshole Bouncer says, "ok next". Marcus steps up to the plate...Shows some dirty library card that looks like half of it got eaten by wolves or somethin and DENIED!! At that time I would never leave my friends. I always had there backs no matter what! I could've went in and told him to take the train home but I bit my lip and stepped to the side with him to think of a solution. Hmmm he says, "Hey you got 2 I.D.'s right?" as the master of I.D. crafting I answer, "ya, and ya it's real too! The one I was using I had slightly crafted a number to make myself from 19 to 21 thereby making me able to drink with the big boys. The Asshole bouncer had already confirmed that it was good to go. Of course I had already tested this I.D. on many bars & clubs. People would sometimes say that Marcus looked like me (we had the same haircut/undershave due) so Marcus came up with this burnt plan. He'd use my real I.D. that said I was 19 (keep in mind that Marcus at this time is 24!! which I had told the bouncer already!) And I'd use the same I.D. that passed before which is age 21 but I'm really 19 at this time. So we split up in the line so not to be one after another. I get let in so I wait for Marcus. The guy looks at Marcus's I.D. and figured out what we did (both I.D.s are my pic) so he grabs me, threw me & Marcus out! I say to the bouncer, "C'mon me he's obviously over 18 man look at how damn hairy he is! He's 24!!" Bouncer threatens to kick my ass and starts shit with me and pushes me out. I HATE THAT BOUNCER. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU BADASS BOUNCER GUY! HE WAS CLEARLY OBVIOUSLY OVER 18!!
So I'm in front the club still with Marcus but we're off to the side. I bite my lip again and me & Marcus go back home to look for his I.D. He finds it. 45min drive again later, were at the club again. Bouncer remembers us and tells us to get out. I say, "hey this time we drove 45min home to look for his I.D. he's got it", Bouncer replies, "No way you guys getting in anytime tonight hahaha get lost!" Funny huh' the fake I.D. was valid but the real one was denied! And now were both denied! I was as sad as a 19 year old boy could be at that time. So I wander off to the side and look thru the gated alleyway and see the techs for the bands and people carrying the instruments. I was remembering how my best friend would get into shows free just buy talking to the techs or the band which would sneak him in. I was really shy back then so I was afraid to ask. Now I regret not asking. So I hold in my anxiety and we walk off cause now none of us can get in, no matter what. We drive home. Car broke down wouldn't start. Eventually I got it to start and dropped Marcus off. I go home. Go down to the basement, grab a 40oz of St.Ides, drink it, go to bed. I was really really depressed & embarressed. I had sad eyes that night...

Oct. 28th 2003 Finally got my LoA DVD! And it was well worth the wait! I should get the Pragha one too. Maybe next time.
